Liu Cheng has undertaken or participated in 7 programs concerning the development of the National standards and 5 programs concerning the development of Public Security professional standards. Furthermore, Liu has played a core role in 4 research programs supported by China or by the Ministry of Public Security of PRC, and hosted or participated in the development of over 20 implementation rules and regulations on the quality certification of fire protection products. Among his programs, the Research on Intelligent Wireless Networking Technology for Firefighting and Rescue Emergency Command won the second prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Ministry of Public Security. Currently, he serves as the deputy chairman of Electrical Fire Protection Technical Subcommittee of National Fire Protection Standardization Technical Committee.
